Welcome Newsletter
Dear respected Elementary School Parents,
Assalam Alaikum,
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you for the 2019-2020 school year at BAS. We had a successful school year last year and are looking forward to building on that success while we learn and grow together as a community. We are excited to have students back in our classrooms and hallways filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning. It is our mission to make every child feel welcomed, connected and a part of our community. Moreover, we are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We recognize that in order to be successful in school, our children need support from both home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility of achieving the vision of our school. A translation of such vision into reality entails that we maintain a key focus on ensuring the delivery of quality education that is geared towards providing our children the relevant content matter and facilitation in learning within an engaging environment. The following are some of the basic information for all parents and students to ensure that we have an environment that is congenial and pleasant for students.
Thanks

What is Edupage?
Edupage is a technology-based teaching learning school that prepares students for the information age. Unlike traditional schools, the curriculum and guidelines are not rigid and teachers can use a variety of multimedia tools for enhanced learning to make their teaching process more effective and efficient. There are a few schools that adopt smart school systems to change the education and tools of the traditional educational system. In smart schools, teachers take help of a wide range of multimedia tools including movies, photos, audio, slides, etc.,Brilliance schools have exceeded many schools in this field. Now you can get a complete feedback about your children while you are sitting at home having a cup of coffee. You can also send your complaints or suggestions through our smart school system. And this is why smart school goals are farsighted and best-suited for the Information and communication technology (ICT) era. Smart school systems focus on a holistic (physical, mental, emotional and psychological) development of students. One of the key goals of smart school systems is to stimulate public participation amongst students. By doing so, students are made to overcome their fears and shyness while learning to express their views that further prepare them to face the outside world.

School Transportation
Bus transportation is provided to and from school.
Bus routes and pickup times are searchable by your home address. If your child is scheduled to be picked the first one in the morning, he/she will be also the first one to arrive home after school too. The bus lady will always accompany your child.
Bus routes that are dedicated to elementary should always have a responsible person waiting at the bus stop when children are picked or dropped off from school. If not, the child will be returned to school and the parent will be contacted.
If you plan to pick up your child that normally rides the bus or you wish for him to ride a different bus than usual, you must send a written note in his/her notebook or contact the school.
(This is possible only if there is vacancy in the required bus).
We will ensure your child to learn the following school bus safety tips:
NEVER RUN in front or behind the school bus to pick up something he or she dropped or forgot.
DOES NOT get into/out of the bus until it has completely stopped.
NEVER PUSH another student while getting on or off the bus.
NEVER place any part of his/her body through the bus window.
GO DIRECTLY to a seat and sit quietly. This allows the bus driver to concentrate on driving safely.
Although we have supervision, you still need to make sure your child is aware of the Danger Zone and is always within sight of the bus driver. The Danger Zone is a 10 foot wide area on all sides of a school bus; an area where children are in the most danger of being hit.
Children should be taught to stay a distance away from the school bus and to never go behind it.
